O’Jarrion Griffin, 16, the suspect from the shooting that occurred on Parkway Place on June 4, is in custody, according to police spokesman Scott Beaubien.
“The Clarksville Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance,” Beaubien said.
Griffin was wanted for his connection to the June 4 slaying of 23-year-old Wylil Alexander of Clarksville.
Alexander had met with Griffin and another teen that afternoon, according to previous reports. After a brief discussion, Alexander tried to flee and was shot, police said. Police found her in a red sedan that crashed on Parkway Place, and she died from her injuries.
One teen, a 14-year-old, was arrested Monday, and police have been looking for Griffin ever since.
