On Thursday, a 16-year-old boy was charged with robbing three men at gunpoint and stealing one of their cars in North Lawndale.
The teen was arrested at 3:17 p.m., several hours after the reported robberies, according to police.
He was identified as the suspect in the 3100 block of West Fillmore Street robbery of three men, ages 54, 58, and 60.
The offender stole the victim’s car and fled.
Officers apprehended the teen in the 300 block of South Kildare Avenue while he was driving the stolen vehicle.
He was charged with three counts of felony armed robbery and one count of felony armed carjacking.
