A 15-year-old boy was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting late Thursday in Brooklyn, cops said.
The teen was standing in front of a building on North Portland Avenue near Park Avenue, part of Fort Greene’s Walt Whitman Houses, around 10:50 p.m., when someone fired from a gray car — possibly a Honda — and shot him in the head, cops said.
It appeared the teen was the intended target, police said. The shooter remains at large.
He was taken to Methodist Hospital, and his injuries are considered life-threatening, authorities said.
Also in Brooklyn, a 20-year-old man was blasted in the chest at a playground on the grounds of Canarsie’s Bay View Houses on East 102nd Street around 12:10 a.m., cops said.Â
The shooting happened during a dispute with five teens, cops said.Â
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead around 12:30 a.m.
No arrests have been made.
