French Navy Goes Head-to-Head with Russian Ship… in Politeness
The French military has released its communications channel between a Russian ship approaching one of its frigates.
And it’s a far cry from the way Moscow’s forces are often depicted in the media.
Fr: You are approaching our position, change your course, please.
Ru: Changing course.
Fr: Thank you. We also have to notify you that to your south is an active French aircraft carrier, be advised to keep a distance of 10 nautical miles.
Ru: Alright, understood, will keep a distant of 10 nautical miles from the French aircraft carrier.
