A 14-year-old boy was charged with six felonies after allegedly robbing several people at gunpoint in Chicago on Tuesday.
Police said they apprehended the boy in the 1500 block of South Christiana Avenue about an hour after the robberies.
According to police, the boy approached each victim while armed with a gun and took their belongings.
The robberies took place in:
A 66-year-old man was arrested in the 2300 block of North Maplewood Avenue; a 51-year-old man was arrested in the 3800 block of West Belmont Avenue; a 42-year-old woman was arrested in the 2300 block of North Western Avenue; and a 62-year-old man was arrested in the 200 block of North Maplewood Avenue.
The teen was charged with six counts of felony armed robbery and is scheduled to appear in juvenile court on Wednesday.
