A 14-year-old boy is facing charges in connection with at least eight armed robberies committed on Chicago’s South Side in November and December of last year.
He was apprehended around 10:46 a.m. Monday in the 1700 block of East 84th Place, according to police.
The boy is accused of robbing victims on the dates and locations listed below in the Grand Crossing neighborhood:
A thirty-year-old man The incident occurred on November 21 in the 7600 block of South Stony Island Avenue.
On November 22, a 23-year-old man was killed in the 7600 block of S. Stony Island Avenue.
On November 23, a 31-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were arrested in the 7700 block of South Stony Island Avenue.
On November 26, a 23-year-old man was killed in the 1500 block of East 77th Street.
On December 1, a 21-year-old man was killed in the 1500 block of East 77th Street.
On December 10, a 17-year-old boy was killed in the 8400 block of South Cregier Avenue.
On December 11, a 19-year-old man was killed in the 7800 block of South Stony Island Avenue.
The teen was charged with eight counts of felony armed robbery with a firearm.
