Dogecoin rockets in value after Elon Musk tweets out Tesla merchandise will be “buyable” with the currency
The meme-based cryptocurrency leapt 18% in value after the billionaire CEO tweeted “Tesla merch buyable with Dogecoin,” Friday.
It’s not the first time Musk has sent the crypto rocketing up in value via Twitter, in December Dogecoin soared by up to 20% after he said it would be usable to purchase Tesla merchandise on a test basis.
Dogecoin calls into question the potential value of Shiba Inu coin, the meme coin of the meme coin, which appreciated 2,50,00,000% in the last one year.
