RawNews1st – One child has been located and another is still missing after two 5-month-olds were abducted from a restaurant parking lot Monday night in Columbus, Ohio.
According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the mother of Kason and Ky’air Thomas walked into a restaurant around 9:45 p.m.
Monday while her car was running with the twin boys in their car seats and, when she turned around, her vehicle – a four-door, black 2010 Honda Accord, was gone.
Just after 5:40 a.m. Tuesday morning, officials with Ohio AMBER Plan say one of the boys had been located at the Dayton International Airport.
Authorities say the found toddler was found in the airport’s Economy parking lot in a car seat by a passenger and brought him inside to an airport attendant.
Columbus police say Ky’air has been found, while Kason is still missing.
Butler Township medics were called to check on the child.
Officials say the car is missing the front bumper, has a torn temporary Ohio Registration tag on the rear bumper and a white bumper sticker that says “Westside City Toys.”
Authorities have named 24-year-old Nalah Jackson as a person of interest. Officials say Jackson is 5-feet 7-inches, 130 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie.
