US Marshal’s Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force: Zamora has been located and arrested

At approximately 2:10 p.m., a Deputy Marshal with the US Marshal’s Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force attempted a traffic stop on a Gray Dodge occupied by a known wanted felon.

The subject fled from officers initiating a vehicle pursuit.

A short time later, the subject crashed the vehicle in a field at the intersection of US Highway 59 Frontage Road and Hanselman Road at which time he fled from the vehicle on foot entering a dense bushy field.

Victoria Police Department K-9 units were deployed to assist in the search.

The search continued at Lala Street and Thurmond Street after officers received a suspicious subject call matching the description of the subject; however, officers searched the area and were unable to locate him.

The subject has been identified as 29 year old Justin Zamora. Zamora is known to have a tattoo on the right side of his face of a basketball logo.
