Interstate 64 East @ Staples Mill Road
At approximately 0221hrs Officers responded to Interstate 64, east of Staples Mill Road regarding two females who were suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds in a motor vehicle parked in the travel lane, at the above location.
The incident appears to be a ‘drive-by’ style shooting situation that also transpired on Interstate 64.
Victims could not offer suspect information and were subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment. This is an isolated incident with no active threat to the public.
