A Hazel Crest man was charged earlier this year with the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man in Englewood.
Anathi Davis-Peal, 24, has been identified as the offender who shot and killed a man on Jan. 6 during a gathering at a home in the 5600 block of South Throop Street.
Davis-Peal was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Wednesday.
On Thursday, he was supposed to appear in bond court.
