Suspect has been charged with attempted second-degree murder: Tennessee

RawNews1st – Jonta McClain, 43 of Knoxville, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder among other charges, stemming from a shooting that happened early this morning on Gaston Avenue.

A man, who was known to McClain, was seriously injured in the shooting.

McClain was taken into custody by KPD Officers a short time after the shooting near her home on Woodrow Drive.

The victim is hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
