Suspect arrested in Junction City for a shooting that killed 26-year-old Audreanna Hidalgo

RawNews1st – Officers responded just before 2 a.m. for a report of a shooting at an apartment complex near Harry and Rock Road in Wichita, Kansas.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman with a gunshot wound. She died at the scene.

The victim was identified as 26-year-old Audreanna Hidalgo.

Capt. Lt. Aaron Moses said the shooting was a case of “intimate partner violence.” Investigators identified a suspect, 38-year-old Dennis Leroy Alcox, who was arrested in Junction City.

Alcox was booked for first-degree murder, criminal possession of a firearm and contempt of court.
