Shooting in the South Shore neighborhood killed two people and injured three others
A shooting in the South Shore neighborhood on Monday afternoon killed two people and injured three others.
Around 1:45 p.m., shots were fired from an apartment in the 2900 block of East 78th Street.
A woman in her twenties was fatally shot in the head. A man in his late twenties was shot in the back and killed.
Another man was shot in the back and arm, and a graze wound to the neck was also sustained. He drove himself to a McDonald’s nearby.
He and two other people are still in critical condition.
