The Public Health Dept. has temporarily shut down the popular burger joint for not checking customer’s vax statuses, violating the city’s August mandate for indoor dining.
“We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business,” a company statement said.
The restaurant has since reopened but indoor dining is not available.
