Prince Andrew faces Deadline Day – Must respond Friday to sexual assault lawsuit
Prince Andrew risks a default judgement against him in the New York sex assault case filed against him by Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Roberts – if he fails to respond before Friday’s deadline.
The Royal’s US-based lawyer Andrew Brettler – who branded the claims against his client “baseless, non-viable and potentially unlawful” – reportedly intends to file a motion to dismiss the case.
Brettler successfully moved to keep details of a 2009 settlement agreement between Epstein and Roberts secret, as he insists it will absolve Andrew of any legal responsibility.
