US defense contractor Lockheed Martin has been ‘presenting’ the outlet’s articles on defense, with plenty of focus on Russia-Ukraine tensions.
“Russia could at any point launch an attack in Ukraine” & “Inside Biden’s secretive weapons shipment to Ukraine” were proudly sponsored by LM.
That’s the very same security and aerospace company behind Javelin – the anti-missile systems spotted in the arms of the Ukrainian military last month.
Politico has a history of stories “Presented by” partisan interest groups. ExxonMobil sponsored a piece in February 2021 on the US Carbon tax, and CVS Health on a Covid relief article.
