Police investigating a homie of a women in Larimer County

RawNews1st – Loveland Police continue investigating the death of a 49-year old female, identified by the Larimer County Coroner’s Office, as Chantell Wilkes of Loveland.

At 11:12 a.m. officers responded near Barnes Park, 405 S. Cleveland, for an unresponsive female in the river.

Officers arrived, along with fire and medics, who declared the party deceased.

Detectives, in cooperation with the Larimer County District Attorney’s Office, are currently investigating.

An autopsy has been performed by the Larimer County Coroner’s Office to confirm the cause of death.

The investigation remains ongoing. At this time, Detectives have ruled the death as a homicide.
