One injured in officer-involved shooting: Loudoun County deputies

According to the release, as deputies approached the vehicle, the suspect exited with a firearm. Deputies fired on the suspect and immediately rendered aid. The suspect was then transported to a local hospital.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday that a suspect in an attempted bank robbery had been shot by deputies in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter on Compass Creek Parkway in Leesburg.

Loudoun County deputies and FBI special agents a suspect in the parking lot who was believed to be connected to an attempted bank robbery that occurred at the Bank of America, Dulles Crossing, on Monday, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

No deputies were injured. The investigation continues, the release said, and additional information will be reported as it develops.
