One woman was arrested after Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers seized 221 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop Thursday on Interstate 70.

According to an MSHP arrest report, a 29-year-old woman from Spanaway, Washington was taken into custody.

MSHP arrested Briana Roberts of Spanaway, Washington. Roberts, 29, was charged with first-degree drug trafficking and endangering the welfare of a child. She is being held at the Montgomery County Jail.

She has not yet been formally charged, according to Montgomery County court records. But she could be prosecuted for first-degree drug trafficking and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the MSHP arrest report.

Montgomery County is nearly 80 miles west of St. Louis.
