A man who was given a 10 year suspended sentence for manslaughter for hitting and killing a boy on a skateboard, has had that suspended sentence revoked, after getting a new charge.

Documents for Abraham McDavid say in December of 2013, he pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
McDavid was driving with a suspended license on October 29, 2011, when he says the boy (Adrian Hardridge) ran out in front of him and McDavid hit him.

The boy died 6 days later.
In December of 2013, McDavid was given a 10 year suspended sentence except for 4 months to be served in a half-way house.

In May of 2021, McDavid was charged with having a gun as a felon and that’s when the DA filed paperwork to revoke McDavid’s previous suspended sentence.

A judge has now revoked it and sentenced McDavid to serve 2 years in prison for both the manslaughter case and the gun conviction.
