Washington – Man shot in head while walking overnight in Winston-Salem; according to police:
• This morning, around 12:30 a.m., Winston-Salem police responded to an area hospital regarding a person being treated for a gunshot wound.
• The male victim told officers he had been shot while walking near Dunleith Avenue and 5th Street. The gunfire came from a passing car. The suspect(s) left the area after the assault.
• The 34-year-old victim, of Winston-Salem, is in stable condition and receiving treatment.
• The Winston-Salem Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in this case. Anyone with any information regarding this incident
