A Kentucky woman has been arrested and is accused of trying to kill her sister in a house fire in Louisville.
The suspect, 22-year-old Addison Brown, is charged with arson, attempted murder and domestic violence. Police said she lit her sister’s mattress on fire while the sister was sleeping on it.
The sister woke up to parts of her room on fire and had to use a pillow to stomp out the fire. In addition to the sister, four others were inside the duplex at the time of the fire, including a minor.
Investigators found messages that show Brown set the fire intentionally in an attempt to kill her sister.

Brown is scheduled to be in court Friday, September 12.
