Homicide investigation female victim had been shot & dead on the scene
Officers were dispatched on a disturbance in 7800 block of E. 48th street. While en route the call was updated to a shooting.
Upon arrival officers located a female victim that had been shot. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A person of interest connected to the shooting is in custody.
