Epic Game’s massively popular Fortnite battle royale was down for around seven hours on Wednesday.
The video game, which boasted more than 350 million registered users, was unplayable amid a hit holiday-themed event.
Among players who missed out were paying subscribers.
Epic is yet to comment on whether any gamers will be compensated.
Thousands were impacted by servers dropping according to Downdetector, while Fortnite itself admitted to having issues on Twitter.
