Downtown Pittsburgh is closed off, buildings evacuated while police investigate bank robbery

Part of downtown Pittsburgh is closed off, and buildings are being evacuated while police investigate a bank robbery.
It happened at PNC bank near Washington Place around noon.
A law enforcement source told Channel 11 that a suspect is in custody, and that there were no injuries inside the bank.
The bomb squad has been called and they’re using a robot to check out a backpack found near the area of the robbery.
Pittsburgh police are asking people to avoid the area.
