Detroit rapper 42 Dugg arrested by feds
We are learning some new information about 42 Dugg’s case & how authorities were able to find him.
As reported, he was arrested for failing to turn himself in for a 6-month sentence for illegally possessing a firearm.
ATF revealed they had been tracking 42 Dugg’s whereabout for several weeks.
They had surveillance at 7 addresses in Detroit where they believed he could be, but 42 Dugg never showed up to any of those locations.
Authorities then received a warrant to trace his phone signals & that is how they were able to find him in Memphis this week. 42 Dugg had $25K in cash & about $100K in jewelry.
Also, during a hearing today, an agent testified saying he listened to Dugg’s phone conversation after being arrested & says he was avoiding Atlanta due to an unspecified “beef”.
42 Dugg is facing up to 5 years in federal prison.
