Deputies arrest escaped Alabama inmate on kidnapping, rape charges
An escaped Alabama inmate awaiting trial on kidnapping and rape charges was taken into custody by Franklin County, TN deputies on Sunday.
Jeremy Taylor was hiding out in a tent on Robinson Creek Road when deputies found him, the Franklin County Sherriff’s Office report.
Taylor escaped from the Morgan County Detention Facility on Sunday and was captured later that night.
He was awaiting trial on the following charges before his escape:
- Two counts of rape
- Kidnapping
- Two counts of sodomy
- Unlawful possession of a controlled substance
- Three counts of burglary
Jeremy will also now be charged with escape to the second degree in Morgan County.
