Daytona Beach police officer fatally shoots man who stabbed him in the face at gas station
Young said the officer and a Volusia County deputy who happened to be at the gas station as a customer approached the suspect after gas station workers called police to trespass the suspect. Young said it was the second time on Thursday that officers were called to the gas station to trespass the man
Young said a struggle ensued and the suspect, who has not been identified, stabbed the officer in the face. The officer shot the suspect, who died.
