A man is back in jail, accused of failing to register as a sex offender for the 4th time in 2 years.
Records for David Tapp show:
May, 2019: pleaded guilty in Tulsa County to a reduced charge of lewd molestation and got a 5 year suspended sentence and was ordered to register.
October 2019: Charged with failure to register.
February 2020: Charged with failure to register.
Both those cases were dismissed after he registered.
February 2021: Charged with failing to register
April 2021: Pleaded guilty to that one and was sentenced to 3 years, but, only to serve 90 days in jail with the other 2 years and 9 months to be suspended.
Today: Arrested for failing to register.
Today’s arrest is not a conviction.
