A silver Hyundai, possibly an Elantra was spotted leaving the scene of a shooting: Georgia
April 1, 2022- 11:32 p.m.
Just before 7PM the Rincon Police Department was dispatched to Dairy Queen, 500 Block of Towne Park Drive in Rincon after receiving a call of a shooting.
One person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators are in the process of interviewing witnesses and say this is an active, ongoing investigation. A silver Hyundai, possibly an Elantra was spotted leaving the scene and is believed to be involved.
Investigators do not believe this was a random act of violence or that there is a threat to the general public.
