Paterson, N.J.: A New Jersey state trooper was shot and wounded early Thursday morning in Paterson.
The trooper was hospitalized at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center and being prepped for surgery for a gunshot wound to his lower leg, authorities said.
The trooper was in stable condition and the injury was not life-threatening, we’re told.
