3 people are dead after a suspected murder suicide in Norton.
The Virginia State Police as well as the City of Norton Police Department and Wise County Commonwealth’s attorney are investigating a shooting that occurred at house along the 800 block of Highland Ave.
NW in Norton.According to VSP the incident happened just before noon on Sunday when officials received a 911 call from someone at the house.
Once investigators arrived on scene they found three people dead.
VSP says based on evidence collected at the scene it appears to be a murder suicide.
The investigating remains ongoing at this time according to VSP.
