By Arvind Ojha: As many as two people were killed after a speeding Thar ran over eight people near Malai Mandir in Delhi, late on Wednesday. The Thar also hit two other vehicles, a Delhi Police official said.
While two people have succumbed to their injuries, six, including children, were injured and are admitted to AIIMS Trauma Centre.
The injured are residents of Shiva Camp Vasant Vihar and Ekta Vihar, RK Puram.
A case is being registered under 304A IPC. Preliminary probe revealed that Thar was overspeeding and lost control. Further probes are underway, said Delhi Police.
