13-year-old boy dies after shots fired into Cleveland Heights home

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — A 13-year-old boy was killed Monday evening after shots were fired into the back of a home, according to reports.

A dispatcher with the police department declined to release information Monday night.

But Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg tells WOIO Channel 19 that investigators believe the shots might have been fired from another residence about three houses away from where the boy was killed.
